This is a demo

Peashoot built this site on its own initiative to show Tía Chela Hostel what its website could be. The house didn’t commission it, hasn’t reviewed it and doesn’t endorse it.

The facts come from the hostel’s public channels (its website, Instagram, Booking.com and Hostelworld) and official sources, checked on 28 October 2026. Bookings, rates and conditions are always confirmed by the house.

Your data

This site has no forms that send data to a server and sets no cookies of its own.

The enquiry form only writes a message: you send it yourself from WhatsApp, and from then on WhatsApp’s privacy policy applies.

Your browser stores on this device (localStorage) the dates, guests and room of your last enquiry and the plans you mark with ♥, so you don’t have to type them again. Your special requests and name are not stored. Clear the site’s data in your browser to remove it.

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical connection data to deliver it; the demo domain may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies.

Illustrations, logo and fonts

The cut-out shapes, painted map, postcards and icons are original drawings made for this demo, inspired by the house’s stairwell mural.

The Tía logo is the hostel’s own logo (hostaltiachela.com), vectorised so it stays crisp.

Typefaces: Fraunces, Figtree and Caveat, under the SIL Open Font License.

Photos

All photos of the house are the hostel’s own, published on its Instagram, its website or its Booking.com and Hostelworld pages. They are used for this demo only and are not cleared for commercial use: if the house asks, they will be replaced or removed. Edits were conservative (colour, removing Instagram icons, upscaling only where the result was credible) and don’t change what the place looks like.
